The training on computer skills allowed our employees to accomplish 8-10 times the amount of required documentation without sacrificing the quality of client care.  We saved at least two hours per week for the people trained on Word and one hour for those trained on Excel, this results in a savings of over $38,000.  This training continued to benefit us when in December 2009, DCFS indicated that our workers have to do even more documentation.  We chose to use Excel to do that documentation.  Thanks to the Workforce Institute training our workers were able to jump right in and learn what they needed to in order to meet the demands that are being placed on them.  So the training continues to pay off for us.  We have been impressed with the professionalism of the Workforce Institute in providing the training and in managing the grant process for us.
